Holocaust Memorial Educational Improvement Tax Credit program (EITC)

Benefits

  • Direct your state tax dollars to Holocaust education
  • Receive a state tax credit worth 90% of your gift
  • Deduct a portion of your gift from your taxable income on your individual federal return*

Requirements

  • Tax credits are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Minimum contribution of $6,200 per year for 2 years
  • Payment in full may be due as early as October 1 for the tax year in which the 90% credit applies
  • This opportunity to participate in Pennsylvania’s EITC program is through a partnership with the Foundation for Jewish Day Schools

60% of each gift

Goes to the Philadelphia Holocaust Remembrance Foundation to support Holocaust education

40% of each gift

Goes toward scholarships for students at Jewish day schools in the Philadelphia area
